The largest annual event in the Ozarks celebrate its 77th year. Your favorite food and fun will be back with new attractions and amazing acts for countless hours of family fun! Monday, July 29th is Senior Citizens Day. Tuesday, July 30th is Service personnel day and Bluegrass day. Wednesday, July 31 is Military day.

Springfield Cage Bird Expo and All Pet Fair

Local and Regional vendors will be selling hand fed Parrots, Also a wide range of birds; lovebirds, finches, keets, cockatiels, Doves, cages, toys and hard to find supplies. Donation Raffle will run all day!

Moneyville, a traveling exhibit at DCS

Location: Discovery Center of Springfield, 438 E. St. Louis Street

Admission: $12.00 adults, $10.00 seniors and $8.00 children (3-15)
Money isn't just about dollars and cents. The ancient Aztecs used chocolate for money, and Yap Islanders used 500 lb stones! So what is money and how does it work? Now families, adults, and children can explore the history, science, math and economics behind money in Moneyville. A traveling exhibit from the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. This highly interactive traveling exhibit uses the familiar and fascinating subject of money to build math skills and promote economic literacy in a fun environment.
Budgets, spending, saving all these money topics should be discussed with your children and family. Liberty Bank will be here Friday, June 21st 10am-4pm to share advice and ideas on the Money topic.
This exhibit is included in Discovery Center General Admission.

Ozark Mountain Saxophone Band open rehearsal

Location: Creamery Arts Center, 411 N. Sherman Parkway, Springfield

The Ozark Mountain Saxophone Band will give the public a chance to hear them in rehearsal on July 28, 3pm, at the Creamery Arts Center, 411 N. Sherman Parkway, Springfield. Here's an opportunity to hear this saxophone quartet work out all the kinks, get all the wrong notes out of the way, and work their magic on works by Barber, Bach, and others. Yoga in Phelps Grove Park

Come join our yoga in the park community! Each week there will be a different instructor putting his/her own spin on an all-levels yoga class. Watercolor U.S.A. is a nationally known, annual juried exhibition recognizing aqueous media painting. Featuring some of the country's best known artists and jurors, the event is open to artists from all 50 states and U.S. territories. Hundreds of entries are received annually and judged for a variety of prizes and possible purchase by the museum or its patrons. Since 1962, this event has attracted thousands of visitors to view the work of exhibitors.
